An error occurred downloading the file 456.pap

First as far as I know if the files or file path in Teams contains an apostrophe it would trigger the downloading fail just as you mentioned above. For your concerns about “ If Teams can prompt a message for any possible error for file unable get downloaded”  I did a lot of research about this feature with Teams.  And as far as I know when team members cannot download files in Teams, the Teams would prompt error messages like block for downloading etc, however we cannot manually make Teams prompt for a message for the possible reason why cannot download, thanks.  Anyway, if you encontered any error messages about files downloading in Teams in the future, please feel free to let me know, our dedicated support engineers are willing to help you, thanks.

On another hand, if you concernend about Teams prompts a message for the possible error, it is recommended that please give a feedback to Teams UserVoice and leave your good ideas there. Microsoft will keep monitoring customers feedback and good ideas there, some featues would be added into the product and services based on customers feedback in the future, and your good ideas will be very helpful for the dedicated develop engineers in Microsoft to improve the product and services, thanks.
