How to Remove the Audible Download Manager
The Audible Download manager makes it possible to download audio files for use with iTunes, Windows Media Player and other audio programs. If you simply want to download your files to your computer and store them, you can do so manually on the Audible website. This helps to free up some disk space and eliminates any unnecessary system processes running in the background. Since your business computers need to be highly reliable, deleting unnecessary processes helps to improve the overall function and speed of your computer.
Close Audible Download Manager

Press "Ctrl-Alt-Del" and select the Task Manager.

Click on the "Processes" tab.

Select the "Manager.exe" process if it is running and click "End Process." Then, click "End Process" for the "AudibleDownloadHelper.exe" process as well.
Uninstall Audible Download Manager

Click the Start menu and type "Programs and Features" in the search box.

Click on "AudibleManager" and select "Uninstall/Change." Click "Yes."

Select "No" when prompted to delete all of the Audible audio files. This will leave your downloaded materials intact, but remove the program files.

Click "OK" when the uninstall completes and reboot your computer if prompted.
