Hi, I play RW on my laptop and when Steam is in offline mode, no mods are here! RW is searching mods How I can keep all mods even if steam if offline?

It's a bit of a hassle but you have 2 options: 1. Don't use Steam Workshop at all, just go to ludeon forums and download and install mods manually. Use Workshop to find your mods. After subscribing, and after they have downloaded, copy them from the directory steam stores them to the mod directory where they are manually installed. Then unsubscribe from the mods so that you don't have 2 sets of the same mods, which may mess things up.

As for the reason why you want to do that, Tynan puts each version that has been released on steam into the betas tab, you can also copy the mods you downloaded from steam into the mods folder for rimworld itself. If you have only the steam cd-key then you're out of luck, will have to buy it from gog. If you have that link, it may mean you had bought the game before it was on Steam. Also, some may not have updated to A17 yet, causing problems.

Looks like you are having one of two issues. Either the mods you are using are not for the version you are playing, or you are playing in "Offline" status on steam and running into the "Downloading" mods issue. Astasia View Profile View Posts.

You still need to be online. AFAIK this game uses a very barebones workshop system and goes through Steam every time you load the game. The game isn't checking the download location for the mods and using them, or creating duplicates of the mods and storing them in it's own folders, instead it's basically asking Steam what mods you are subscribed to and Steam is then sending that data to it, which doesn't work while offline.

Look online and find a mod that you want to try out. The main source for finding mods is the mod release section on the forums. Once you find a mod you like that is compatible with the version of RimWorld you have, you can download them from their individual threads.
