I request you use the hardware troubleshooter and check if this helps.

The Hardware Troubleshooter is an automated tool which will check the hardware connected to the computer for any known issues with it and provides the details and on how to fix them. Follow these steps and run the troubleshooter.

Follow these steps:

1. Press Windows key to get the Start menu.
2. Type Troubleshooting.
3. Click on Troubleshooting.
4. Click on view all option on the upper left corner.
5. Select the Hardware and Device options from the list.
6. Click Next to run the Hardware and Device Troubleshooter.

I applyed your recommendations step by step. Unfortunatly this did not work, the unknown device (the driver of the cam) was found to be incorrectly installed but the program said that it was unable to repair it.

After restart of the computer, it remained an unknown device in the device manager.

Is there anything else I can do to fix this issue?

Please install the latest Chipset (mine was Intel Chipset) driver on the Dell support website after entering your serial number and let it restart by itself. It might take a while though. Once it is back all the USB and Cam issues will be resolved.

I had a similar problem when the patch upgrade for Windows 10 was released and any of my USB device wont work. Installed the latest Chipset driver pack from the list and it fixed it.
